[attr="class","hoenn_body"] In order to add new Pokémon to a character's personal collections, they must first make a post within a designated Capture Point or, in the event they own a Fishing Rod of any sort, a Fishing Spot. The Hoenn region has numerous locations all over to achieve this.

Poké Balls are required for capturing Pokémon. When posting in a Capture Point or a Fishing Spot, players must designate the type and quantity of Poké Ball/s they want to use, which are consumed and subtracted from the character's inventory upon submission. A Pokémon will then be generated semi-randomly in accordance with the Capture Point or Fishing Spot's surrounding geography, ecosystem, and the Poké Ball/s used to catch them, after which it can be claimed and added to the character's collection.[break][break]

Characters can only capture five Pokémon per week, regardless of where they are found and caught. Plan your acquisitions out accordingly if you are in need of certain species!
