[attr="class","hoenn_body"]
There are some who believe the world is growing smaller every day. Others feel humanity lacks the space it needs to progress even further beyond its limits. Many more simply lack a place to live. Regardless of where one might stand, these ideologies all hinge on a single fact: there can never be such a thing as "too much land".[break][break]
Enter Team Magma: a clandestine organization of ecoterrorists that seeks to expand the planet's total land mass in order to create a world suitable for human development. Naturally, this means that Team Magma is willing to exploit and take advantage of Pokémon to achieve this goal, seeing them as little more than a means to an end at best or disposable tools at worst.[break][break]
No one is certain when Team Magma precisely came to be, but their appearance is directly linked to the existence of a rival coalition that calls themselves Team Aqua, who seek to undermine Team Magma's ambitions for mankind by consuming the world in water. They fiercely oppose one another, whether in public or private, and will stop at nothing to ensure the complete destruction of their hated enemies and all who would stand in their way.[break][break]
Once a character is recruited into Team Magma as a Grunt, they will be issued one of the following Pokémon. It is randomly generated at Level 10 and can be claimed within the Team Magma Recruitment thread after posting in it.[break][break]

Team Magma does not require HM04 (Strength) to enter caves, due to having an available supply of digging and climbing gear for Grunts to make liberal use of.
